About the book

A cruising guide for yachts working their way along the Queensland coast, from the Gold Coast north to Lizard Island and the Cooktown coast. The coast is divided into thirteen sections, each with its anchorages, marinas, public pontoons and passages, wind and wave averages by month, and chartlets and aerial photographs of the anchorages with notes on depth, holding, phone reception, marine park zoning and the winds they shelter from.

Greg Luck wrote and self-published the guide after his own passages up the coast. It is kept current through new editions; the copy photographed is the second.
