Tallawood Road ends at a small riverside park on the Coomera River, across the water from Sanctuary Cove and its marina. The ramp is a single concrete lane with a floating pontoon alongside, nine marked car-trailer bays and a few car spaces, and toilets, a barbecue and a playground in the park behind. The one real drawback is space: turning a trailer at the top of the ramp is tight, and the boat yards along this reach keep the road busy.
The river here is wide and sheltered, with marked water-ski zones upstream and the run downstream past Hope Island to the Coomera mouth and the Broadwater. Six-knot zones apply around the marinas and moorings. The state register lists the ramp as usable on all tides. It fishes for bream, flathead and jack along the rock walls and pontoons.
Nearby alternatives are the Oxenford ramp upstream, now three lanes with a pontoon, and Boykambil on Coombabah Creek to the south-east. Marine Rescue Queensland Gold Coast monitors VHF 16.
