The Logan River Parklands ramp is tucked under the M1 where it crosses the Logan at Eagleby, reached down its own lane off the service road. Two concrete lanes at an eight per cent grade with a large car park of about 45 bays, but no toilets, water or walkway. The state register flags it as tide-limited, as the Logan is muddy and thin at the edges here on a low spring, so it is a top-half-of-the-tide launch for anything with draught.
It is the main council ramp on the lower Logan and the closest to the motorway for anyone coming from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Downstream the river winds 15 km past Alberton to the bay; upstream it is a quiet, sheltered water past Beenleigh towards Waterford, with ski areas and six-knot zones marked. Bream, flathead, jack and threadfin salmon, and mud crabs in the side creeks.
