Dohles Rocks is the reserve on the northern bank of the Pine River at Griffin, reached from Anzac Avenue or the Murrumba Downs exit off the highway, and it is as much a fishing and picnic spot as a boat ramp. The ramp is two concrete lanes at an eight per cent grade with a floating walkway (per the council facility plan), toilets and about 23 bays. The state register lists it as usable on all tides; the river is deep off the rocks.
The Pine here is a few kilometres above the bridges and Bramble Bay, tidal and sheltered, with the Deep Water Bend ramp on the opposite bank and the North and South Pine junction upstream. Six knots applies through the river. Bream, flathead, jack and mud crabs, with the rocks themselves a favourite bank-fishing spot.
Deep Water Bend (Wyampa Road, Bald Hills) across the river has 55 bays and a pontoon. Marine Rescue Queensland Brisbane monitors VHF 16.
