Jasmine Avenue is a quiet residential street that ends at a small, well-kept ramp onto the western Broadwater, about 100 m from the Holly Avenue ramp. It has seven parking bays right beside it, which is more than its neighbour, and a sandy beach either side. You reverse straight down from the street, and there is no wharf or jetty to tie to.
It is not a ramp for large boats, as the register gives it a 15 per cent grade and one lane, but it is a good place to learn, with sheltered water in front. The state register flags it as tide-limited, and the shoals and rocks off Hollywell are the reason: launch and come home on the top half.
The Broadwater from here runs north to the Coomera and Jumpinpin and south to the Seaway; six-knot zones apply around the canals and moorings. Marine Rescue Queensland Southport monitors VHF 16 and 73.
