This is the launch for Tallebudgera Creek, on the Palm Beach side a short way up from the creek mouth. Gold Coast Waterways Authority replaced the structurally damaged ramp and upgraded the floating walkway and abutment between July and September 2024 at a cost of $1.1 million, so the concrete and the walkway are new. It remains a single lane, with sandy beaches either side, toilets and a tap, and about 12 bays, enough on a weekday, not on a Sunday.
Reversing in from Murlong Crescent takes some care and the reviewers call it an experienced-driver ramp. The state register flags it as tide-limited: the creek is shallow at low water and the sand bar at the mouth moves. Personal watercraft are prohibited on Tallebudgera Creek, which keeps it quiet and suits the tinnies and small runabouts the ramp is built for.
The creek is known for its fishing (bream, flathead, whiting, jack in the upper snags) and for its clear water on the incoming tide. Awoonga Avenue on the Burleigh bank is the only other public ramp, and a poor one. Marine Rescue Queensland Currumbin monitors VHF 16.
