The Bells Creek ramp is at the southern end of the Golden Beach Esplanade, where Jensen Park sits on the north bank of the creek beside the Pelican Waters canals. Three concrete lanes at a ten per cent grade with toilets, a tap and a car park of about 25 bays, sandy beach either side to hold a boat on, and the yabby banks adjacent. The state register lists it as usable on all tides; locals say it is quite shallow on the bottom of the tide but usable, and not too bad in wind. The parking is better than at the power boat club ramp, which is why it is popular.
The water is the Passage south of Caloundra: sheltered, sandy and shallow, with Bribie's northern tip across the channel, reshaped by the 2022 breakthrough, and the run north to the bar or south down the Passage.
