Harley Park is the Labrador foreshore park on the western shore of the Broadwater, and its ramp is the twin-lane ramp with a pontoon and a small jetty at the Broad Street end. Sandy beach either side, toilets and a tap, a separate public pick-up and drop-off jetty, and the Labrador restaurant strip a few steps away. The state register lists 62 bays and all-tide access.
The two complaints are the same every weekend: the parking is full by early morning, and the ramp faces straight out into the Broadwater, so a south-easterly or a running tide makes the retrieve slippery and awkward. It is a weekday ramp for anyone with a choice. From it the Seaway and Wave Break Island are a short run east across the Broadwater, with six-knot zones along the foreshore and around the moorings off Labrador.
Loders Creek, at the southern end of Marine Parade, is the sheltered alternative with two lanes; Broadwater Parklands to the south has four lanes and 90 bays. Gold Coast Waterways Authority listed Harley Park among the alternatives during the Parklands repairs in 2025. Marine Rescue Queensland Southport monitors VHF 16 and 73.
