John Siganto Park is a riverside park on the Coomera River at Upper Coomera, upstream of the Oxenford ramp and the motorway, and its ramp is the highest public launch on the river. It is a single concrete lane onto gravel beaches, with eight bays, toilets and a tap, and a park with a dog exercise area and a playground around it. The reviewers call it a very peaceful spot.
The river here is calm and narrow, with rocks in the water that need watching at low tide, and it is a place for tinnies, kayaks and small boats rather than anything that needs depth. The state register lists it as usable on all tides. Downstream the Coomera passes Oxenford and the ski zones on its way to Hope Island and the Broadwater; upstream it becomes freshwater-influenced and fishes for bass after rain.
Oxenford, a few minutes downstream, has three lanes and a pontoon. Marine Rescue Queensland Gold Coast monitors VHF 16.
