Victoria Point's northern ramp sits on Colburn Avenue at the top of the foreshore reserve, where the Coochiemudlo passenger ferry runs from the jetty. Two concrete lanes with a floating pontoon, toilets, a tap and a proper car park of about 56 rigs make it the main public launch between Cleveland and Redland Bay, and the state register lists it as usable on all tides thanks to the channel to Coochiemudlo.
Council has a full replacement of the floating pontoon planned for 2025–26, subject to funding and approvals, with limited access to the ramp during the works and the Masters Avenue ramp 500 m south as the alternative. The water outside is the channel to Coochiemudlo two kilometres east, with Macleay and the Southern Moreton Bay Islands to the south and Peel Island to the north; the flats either side of the channel dry on the low, and six knots applies around the jetty and ferry.
Marine Rescue Queensland Victoria Point is based on the point and monitors VHF 16.
