Sandstone Point is the mainland end of the Bribie Island bridge, and the ramp on Kal Ma Kuta Drive sits on the Passage shore just north of Spinnaker Sound Marina and the Sandstone Point Hotel. Two concrete lanes at a ten per cent grade with toilets, a tap and a car park of about 43 bays; the state register lists it as usable on all tides, and the marina channel gives depth. The Passage here is the wide southern basin between the mainland and Bongaree, sheltered but shallow away from the channels, with the bridge's five-metre clearance to the north and Deception Bay to the south. The old oyster lease south of the hotel is a genuine hazard, invisible at high water. Six knots applies around the marina, the bridge and the moorings.
Sylvan Beach at Bellara, across the bridge, is the five-lane ramp; Bongaree's Fifth Avenue ramps are the island-side alternatives. Marine Rescue Queensland Bribie Island monitors VHF 16.
